"We believe small perturbations can reveal governing principles of complex biological systems." Classic regenerative biology focuses on stem cell behavior in isolation. Our recent work demonstrates that partial reprogramming can propagate widespread repair characteristics across cell types and environments. We show that mosaic partial cellular reprogramming not only alters targeted epithelial cells but also remodels neighboring microenvironments and immune networks, leading to enhanced wound healing and tissue regeneration.
