We combine Xenopus developmental biology, single-cell and functional genomics, and genome engineering to understand how disease genes act during development and to build technologies for tissue repair, cancer therapy, and diagnosis. TaejoonLab studies the developmental functions of disease genes in Xenopus, and develops single-cell, CRISPR, and genomic technologies for tissue repair, cancer therapy, and diagnosis. We are in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology).
