연구실 홈페이지의 소개

WE are working on software engineering issues of building software systems that effectively utilize various resources in emerging environments such as the Web, clouds, Internet of Things (IoT), and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). We especially focus on making software systems adaptable to changing needs and conditions in highly dynamic environments, and allowing end users to participate in the evolution of the software. Development of CI/CV/CD Framework for SDI – This project develops a software-defined infrastructure (SDI) to enable intelligent mobility systems such as autonomous vehicles, robots, and urban air mobility to be reliably developed, tested, and deployed across diverse hardware and environments. At KAIST, we focus on continuous integration, verification, and deployment (CI/CV/CD) technologies, including dynamic machine learning service composition, simulation-based validation, and distributed deployment methods, to ensure seamless and dependable operation of software-defined mobility services. Simulation-based Functional Safety Evaluation for Driver Monitoring and Autonomous Systems – As deep neural networks are increasingly embedded in vehicles for driver monitoring and autonomous driving, ensuring their safety and reliability is critical. This project develops simulation-based methods for functional safety testing, focusing on generating and analyzing realistic scenarios that incorporate driver behavior and external environments. By advancing scenario-based testing frameworks and identifying limitations of neural network perception models, the research aims to enable efficient and dependable validation techniques for next-generation automotive systems. Development of SafetyOps Technology for Autonomous and Connected Mobility Systems – Future mobility will i
