By monitoring the kinetic energy of emitted electrons, TRPES provides a real-time window into the shifting binding characters of a system undergoing a chemical change. Its high degree of local sensitivity makes it a versatile tool for capturing the nuances of electronic relaxation in diverse media, from isolated gas-phase molecules to complex condensed-phase lattices. HHS utilizes strong-field laser pulses to drive and recollide electron wavepackets, offering a unique 'inside-out' view of molecular and material properties. This technique provides unparalleled attosecond-scale resolution, enabling the observation of electron-hole dynamics and lattice-driven symmetries with extreme precision. The low kinetic energy (LKE) electron generated by XUV(EUV) irradiation may induce various chemical reaction with photoresists or residual gases to produce byproducts, which is fatal for high-precision semi-conductor manufacture. Our study can be applied to designing the next-generation photoresists, which is robust against the LKE electron-induced chemical reaction. The radiotherapy which can cure cancer by high-energy irradiation has a strong relevance with electron-induced dynamics in solution. The high-energy irradiation on radiosensitizers (halogenated nucleosides, cisplatin derivatives, and halfnium-oxide nanoparticles) creates reactive radicals or hydrated electrons that can directly break DNA strands of cancer cells. Our study may demonstrate the detailed mechanism of radiosensitizers and may contribute to design the next-generation radiosensitizers. Chemical reactions are traditionally understood by tracking how atoms move, how bonds stretch, break, and form. Yet beneath every structural transformation lies a far faster and more fundamental process: the motion of electrons.
